Morning: You will meet our team carrying your name placard at the Airport Gate who will drive you to a comfortable hotel in Paro for check in and freshening up. If time permits you will visit a historic monument of 1944, Rinpung dzong (fortress) and its watchtower Ta Dzong, now one of few national museums in Bhutan standing on a hilltop overseeing the Paro valley.
Morning: after breakfast transfer to Thimphu (2 -3 hour’s drive). Then check in to the hotel.
Visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, National Memorial Chorten, and Folk Heritage Museum.
Evening: explore Thimphu city, visit Royal Textile Academy, and stroll through the local markets.
Overnight stay in hotel.
Morning: Explore the National Institute for Zorig Chusum (Arts and Crafts School) and visit Tashichho Dzong.
Evening: Drive to Punakha (2.5 – 3 hours’ drive). Check in to hotel and overnight there.
Morning: visit Punakha Dzong and the suspension Bridge.
Afternoon: drive to Bumthang (7 hours’ drive), Passing through Trongsa.
Evening: Arrive in Bumthang, check into your hotel, and overnight in hotel.
Morning: Visit Jakar Dzong and Jambay Lhakhang.
Afternoon: Explore Kurjey Lhakhang and Tamshing Lhakhang.
Evening: Leisure time to relax and acclimate.
