Tour Plan

Morning: Arrive at Paro international Airport. Complete immigration and customs formalities. You will meet our team carrying your name placard at the Airport Gate who will drive you to Thimphu (1.5 hours)

Evening: Settle into your hotel and take a leisurely walk around Thimphu, visit local markets, and acclimatize to the altitude.

Morning: visit the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, and Tashichho Dzong.

Afternoon: Explore the Motithang Takin Preserve and visit local craft shops.

Evening: Prepare for the next journey to Phobjikha valley and overnight in hotel.

Morning: Drive to Phobjikha Valley (6 hour drive). Enjoy scenic views along the way.

Afternoon: Arrive in Phobjikha Valley, check into your guesthouse.

Evening: Short hike to explore the valley and get an introduction to the local ecology.

Morning: Visit the Gangtey Monastery and start your crane – spotting tour.

Afternoon: Continue exploring the valley. The cranes can be observed in the wetlands and surrounding fields.

Evening: Return to your guesthouse and enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner.

Morning: Participate in the annual Black – Necked crane Festival (held in November) at Gangtey Monastery.

Afternoon: Enjoy cultural performances, crane – themed dances, and local food.

Evening: Relax and take a walk in the valley.

Morning: Drive to Bumthang (6-7 hours), a region known for its beautiful landscapes and spiritual sites.

Afternoon: Visit Jakar Dzong and local temples.

Evening: Explore Bumthang town and check into your hotel.

Morning: Visit Kurjey Lhakhang, Jambay Lhakhang, and Tamshing Lhakhang.

Afternoon: Take a short hike to Thangbi Goemba.

Evening: Return to your hotel and prepare for departure.

Morning: Fly back to Paro from Bumthang (if available 35 minutes nonstop flights) or drive to back (10 – 12 hours drive).

Afternoon: rest and explore Paro town.

Evening: Visit local shops for souvenirs and enjoy a final dinner in Bhutan.

Morning: Visit Paro Dzong and the National Museum of Bhutan if time permits.

Afternoon: Depart from Paro international Airport.
