Highlights: Arrive at Paro International Airport. Visit Paro Dzong and the National Museum. Stroll through Paro town to acclimate. Overnight stay in Paro.

  • Distance: 1.5 hours by car
  • Highlights: Drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. Visit the Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, and Buddha Dordenma statue. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum and Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
  • Distance: 2 hours by car, 4-5 hours trekking
  • Highlights: Drive to Genekha, the starting point of the trek. Hike through terraced fields and alpine meadows to Gur. Camp overnight at Gur (3,290 meters).
  • Distance: 5-6 hours trekking
  • Highlights: Trek through lush forests of spruce and birch, crossing several ridges. Enjoy stunning views of the Dagala range. Camp overnight at Labatama (4,050 meters) near the beautiful Labatama lakes.

Highlights: Spend the day exploring the high-altitude lakes around Labatama. Hike to lakes such as Reli Tsho, Hen Tsho, and Setsho, and enjoy fishing or simply relax by the lakes. Camp overnight at Labatama.

  • Distance: 6-7 hours trekking
  • Highlights: Trek through alpine meadows and ascend to the highest point of the trek, Panka (4,520 meters). Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Bhutan's highest peaks, including Jomolhari and Jichu Drake. Camp overnight at Panka (4,000 meters).
  • Distance: 5-6 hours trekking, 1 hour by car
  • Highlights: Descend through rhododendron and juniper forests to Talakha Monastery. Continue trekking to the roadhead and drive back to Thimphu. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Thimphu. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Highlights: Drive back to Paro for your departure. Reflect on your incredible journey through the Dagala mountains and lakes as you prepare to leave Bhutan.
